Sober Fun - "We Are Not a Glum Lot!"

A common fear of getting sober is that we won't ever have fun again. Our memories of celebrations, nights out, socializing with friends typically include alcohol, so we can't imagine what we will do without it. Will our friends still want to hang out with us? Will we still laugh? What on earth will we DO now that we don't drink? Join us for a discussion that will quell those fears! Sober life opens the door to a life of fun and laughter that we never contemplated. As a famous recovery saying goes, "we are not a glum lot"! Come have some Sober Fun with us!

  1. I don't get why sobreity couldn't be fun, either. I mean, it should be a definition of fun, because you wake up fresh and well-rested with it. It's the very definition of being lifted up, mentally and emotionally. So yes, that should bring good vibes to you. Anyway, thanks for sharing that! All the best!

  2. I was so excited after the intro hoping it would would be "Mrs. D" as your guest and it was. And then I was doubly excited when it was "Scott" too. What a great show! I loved their past guest appearances too (Mrs. D's book episode and Scott in Finding Freedom in Recovery and Sober on Stage and maybe others). He has a great voice. Is there a way we could hear his music?

I haven't been in the studio for some time so its dated but still fun.. More to come! I basically stopped music when I was at my worst drinking. Have been rebuilding it for the 2.5 years I have been alcohol free and have never enjoyed it more! Now I need to record some of this new energy!!
    Love,
    Scott
    Thanks again and enjoy!
