Speaker Discussion "Meeting" with Lisa N. (Co-Founder and Former Co-Host of The Bubble Hour)

In recovery meetings it is common practice for one person to share their experience, strength and hope and then to pick a recovery topic for the group to discuss. We thought it would be great to recreate that concept here on The Bubble Hour. Hearing that there are other people just like us...with the same experiences, thoughts and feelings is revolutionary.  Our featured guest on this show is a voice many of you will recognize - Lisa N., one of the founders and former Co-Host of The Bubble Hour.

  1. Wow. That was so very powerful. After 3 years of sobriety I relapsed 4 years ago and have been on & off the wagon and spiraling downward ever since. Yesterday was day 1. Again. It is so painful to be here & going through this yet again. But honestly that testimony was amazing. I may listen to it every day for a while. Thank you for sharing your story. It nearly brought me to tears. I'm sad & happy at the same time. Thank you.

  2. Thank you for that. Know that you guys are doing important work. God's work, truly. I have listened to podcast after podcast these last few days since I am without much support. I've laughed & cried & been touched deeply. It has really helped more than you know. I push forward. No looking back. Now on day 4.

  3. How do I join the BFB group?
Day one of sober living. I'm worried about Paws! I was so tired and irritable today. Now I know why.
    Many thanks

    1. Yes! It's one day at a time! As Anne Lamott says, "left foot, right foot, breathe...." You can do this!
